This Summer I was commissioned by Ted Baker to create an illustration as part of their Bakers Dozen Project.

The project illustrates 13 British ‘pastimes’, with my theme being Village Fêtes. The project was open and engaging, and allowed me to meet many other brilliant illustrators too. I am so grateful to have been part of such a fun project!

The limited run of 1000 signed and numbered prints will be available workdwide to people who spend £150.

You can find out more on the website dedicated pop-up seen below, where there is also a short video outlining the project as well as biographies on all the artists.

I wanted to share this piece I am working at the moment with you all. It’s eventually going to be an interactive ipad app for children, which is pretty exciting. This is only a small section of the illustration, which is very long, and will be on a loop. When it’s all finished and ‘interactive’ I will share it with you all along with the full story! For now you can enjoy getting a flavour here…

I just wanted to update you all on the variety of products now available through my Society 6 shop. As well as the new iPhone 5 case, there are tote bags, and cards, and t-shirts and hoodies which are available in a much wider spectrum of colours than before! Check out a few examples below, and click HERE to shop.

A few weeks ago I was sent an enormous box of Caran Dache Artists Pastels. Expecting a small sample to use, I ended up with a box of 20 pencils and 20 sticks. I haven’t used pastels for a long time, and am not the best with materials like this. I decided to do sheets of colour on textured pastel paper, and ended up constructing a callage of leaves, berries and twigs.

Anyway, it’s a bit rough, and I got very messy, but it was a good exercise in using something different.

After 2 previously succesful competions, Ohh Deer yesterday, launched their latest one giving illustrators, designers, and photographers the opportunity to design a new cushion cover for the brand.  It could be your chance to have something stocked in some of the UKs top gallery shops, including Tate Modern, and the Design Museum.

Make sure you read the entry requirements carefully before entering, and good luck!

I was recently asked by my good friend and Creative Director of new ethical children’s clothing company, Lunamano, to design a little ‘favicon’ for her social media sites and website.

In keeping with her embroidered animals and insects we decided to go with a bumble bee and a couple of other ideas to offer some flexibility.

Please check out for more information.

I was asked to do 15 quick and simple illustrations to accompany a presentation by Sane & Able. Many of these illustrations are available to view in  my portfolio, but I am adding some here for you to see the full collection of what I did. It was a fun project, and the turnaround, being so quick, forced to produce some fun responses.
