You may have seen a previous post showing some very early ideas for a fashion illustration series. The top image shows the result of that mini project, ‘Line Dancing’ which is available in my Society 6 shop and my Etsy shop. I am also pleased to announce the arrival of my Winter Wolf Christmas Cards. They are pretty lush, and I can’t wait to sell my first pack! Head on over to my Etsy shop to grab your pack!

I am off a little holiday next week. I fly early on Monday 4th October, with my mother to Corfu. We went there last year, and are happy to be staying at the same apartments, in the resort of Arillas. The picture above shows you what it was like last year!
I will be putting my etsy shop on vacation mode for the week, so if you wish to contact me I would suggest you do so before Sunday ends.

Yesterday, I also received my order of pocket mirrors, from Awesome Merchandise and I love them. I have always wanted to get some done. They are already up for sale in my Etsy shop, and I hope they prove to be popular.
I hope to come back from my holiday feeling a little better in myself, a little more energetic, and hopefully full of new ideas to crack on with.
I shall take plenty of pictures too.
See you on the 11th!

These photos were taken a few months ago by a friend of mine, Anna Murphy in Barcelona. Anna graduated this Summer with a Masters in Textile design, specialising in knitting from London’s Royal College of Art. We are thinking of doing a collaborative project together, which will hopefully end in a mini fashion collection, combining knit and digital print (or something along these lines…)
I thought I would share the initial photos with you, in the hopes that I can kick start some ideas.
You can visit Anna’s website (currently under construction) here:
In other news…

I am currently enjoying working on a few fashion illustrations.
Based on the MA collection of up and coming knitwear designer, Kirsty Emery, I have been working on creating unusual collaged characters that get a sense of the fun and girly nature of Kirsty’s collection.
These first two collages are both work in progress, and I have another 6 in the collection to create. I will post up the end results as soon as I am finished.
In the mean time you can check out Kirsty’s website here:

My latest illustrative creations include a ‘Wild Horses’ and ‘Winter Wolves’.  The horses were inspired heavily by Ancient Greek depictions of horses, particularly from Etruscan Bronzes.
You can buy the horses as quality Giclee prints,, T Shirts and more in my Society 5 shop HERE.
Apart from working on horses I have been thinking about winter, and noticing how icy it seems to be getting. Creating a fresh new winter themed idea began to be a priority. My wolves (there are four different colour ways) will be arriving soon in the form of Christmas cards and pocket mirrors, which I think will make perfect stocking fillers! I will also be posting them up to buy as a print in my Etsy shop HERE as well as on Society 6 and Envelop. You will have lot’s of choice for my new winter collection. Look out for the ‘Arctic Fox’ soon as well!

Some new illustrations of trees I created the other week. The top one is actually a collage which has been digitally enhanced. The lower image is an ink line drawing, which I scanned in and turned into vectors in Illustrator. I love the top one myself, and it made me realise how much I love collage.
