Left – right work on table: Carolina Gomez-Aubert, Anna Vening, Carolin Smith, Alice Rebecca Potter

As you can see the four of us only just managed to squeeze ourselves onto the table. The event hosted by Craft Guerilla, and set in the beautiful William Morris gallery in Walthamstow was a great success, with over 700 visitors through the door.
We had so much fun, and all of us made some sales which was great!
I am so pleased of everyone and I can’t wait to do the next fair in February with a fresh new work!
P.S You can see my work set up in the second picture. I had to compromise a bit on what I wanted out and where because of the lack of space.
More pictures up soon πŸ˜€

Ooh! Look what arrived in the post today! I bought the concertina Owl print from the wonderfully talented Mr Jamie Mills over the weekend, and look at what came with it!
As well as the Owl concertina I also received a print of his flying houses, a lovely business card and a pack of Cherry flavoured Space Dust. Christmas has indeed come early πŸ˜€
Go and check out his brand new shop now!

You may have seen the sketches, and now this is the final image. Having never really drawn flowers before (well I have many times, but never really worked on making them a finished design), I am pretty happy with the results. I plan on getting it printed as an A3 glossy poster to take to upcoming Christmas fairs. What do you all think?
Should I go ahead and get it printed? eeek!

My little Red Fox Pocket Mirror was lucky enough to be featured in The Guardian On-lines Unique Christmas Gift Ideas feature. It is a great opportunity to be seen by a wider audience, and also promotes the wonders of Etsy too. Also, it is my first press feature so I am pretty happy πŸ˜€ If you are interested in getting a mirror for yourself, please note that I am running out with only 6 Fox mirrors left, so get in there QUICK!

This weekend was spent designing snowflakes. I hand drew three designs, which you can see in the post below. The plan was to make them them into kits which can be easily constructed to make these simple Christmas decorations. these three are my first attempts. I am going to try printing on thicker card to give them more rigidity. You can buy the designs as little prints over in my etsy shop at the moment, no construction necessary. Click the SHOP tab at the top of my my blog posts πŸ˜€

I am currently prepping myself for a Christmas event that will be taking place in the foyer of the Barbican Centre, London. The concept of the vent is that everything must be sold for a minimum Β£3. I will be sharing the stall with two friends of mine, with whom we form the collective Together We Flew
These rough sketches taken from crochet designs, are my starting point. I hope to create simple 3D baubles, that can be easily made at home. I am currently working on the finals of the snowflakes, and will post them as soon as they are ready.
