Earlier this year I decided to submit my work for the new issue of Ballad Of Magazine. The theme was Pet My Ballad, and I decided to draw these totem like dogs. It’s been a real struggle to keep it all secret, as we haven’t been allowed to show the work until we knew either way if we successful or not. I am happy to say, these three have made it into the magazine! I pre-ordered my copy of the Ballad Of…Lola-Bacon, and you can buy yours HERE too. I am now eagerly awaiting the launch party of the magazine!

You may have seen a previous post showing some very early ideas for a fashion illustration series. The top image shows the result of that mini project, ‘Line Dancing’ which is available in my Society 6 shop and my Etsy shop. I am also pleased to announce the arrival of my Winter Wolf Christmas Cards. They are pretty lush, and I can’t wait to sell my first pack! Head on over to my Etsy shop to grab your pack!

These photos were taken a few months ago by a friend of mine, Anna Murphy in Barcelona. Anna graduated this Summer with a Masters in Textile design, specialising in knitting from London’s Royal College of Art. We are thinking of doing a collaborative project together, which will hopefully end in a mini fashion collection, combining knit and digital print (or something along these lines…)
I thought I would share the initial photos with you, in the hopes that I can kick start some ideas.
You can visit Anna’s website (currently under construction) here:
In other news…

I am currently enjoying working on a few fashion illustrations.
Based on the MA collection of up and coming knitwear designer, Kirsty Emery, I have been working on creating unusual collaged characters that get a sense of the fun and girly nature of Kirsty’s collection.
These first two collages are both work in progress, and I have another 6 in the collection to create. I will post up the end results as soon as I am finished.
In the mean time you can check out Kirsty’s website here:
