Earlier this week I set myself a challenge to draw a large scale drawing. I had recently drawn some Russian palaces (thinking about Christmas) in my sketchbook (HERE)and thought it would be great to do a big one. I found the biggest sheet of paper I could find (approx 25″x21″) and stuck it up on the wall. This was on Monday, and with my little set of Poscas I set about drawing the lines. 3 days later and it was finished, having been filled in with pen, and blue acrylic ink. I also added in some little Russian folk. I think I am pleased with it, but think it needs a mount to hide the edges of the paper. If anyone wants to commission me to do one similar please get in touch. I hope to do some A3 ones that will go on the shop in the Autumn, leading up to the Christmas rush.

    >What a lot of work! Beautiful work too. It would have taken me more than three days to finish such a huge drawing, I bet it looks gorgeous when framed!
